2MO is the northwest's oldest commercial radio station being only the fourth radio licence issued in Australia in 1930. Triple G went to air in September 1997 and has a large following throughout the northwest. 2MO was purchased by Broadcast Operations on January 6th, 1995

Situated on the fertile Liverpool Plains, Gunnedah is a hub for agriculture, particularly grain and livestock. The town has a rich history, with heritage buildings, museums, and nearby natural attractions like the Gunnedah Lookout. It is known as the "Koala Capital of the World" due to its large koala population.
