Our Stations

The original town name of Lambing Flat gave the local radio its call sign. Today Young is still served by Radio 2LF despite the name change.

2LF began broadcasting in 1937 and in 2008, the owners Southern Cross Broadcasting sold the station, and its sister station Roccy FM to Broadcast Operations.

Interesting fact: The name Roccy FM stands for Radio of Cowra Cootamundra and Young, the largest towns in the station's broadcast area.
